Vlahovic

Milan Given Green Light to Explore Dusan Vlahovic Transfer from Juventus

With the arrival of Pervis Estupiñan almost finalized, AC Milan can now focus on strengthening other areas, notably signing a right winger and a striker to support Santiago Gimenez. IlBianconero report that among the top striker targets remains Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic, whose departure from Turin has become a priority for his current club.

Juventus are keen to sell Vlahovic this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year and to free up significant wages, as the Serbian forward is set to earn around €12 million in his final contract year. Milan sees a potential bargain if Juventus agrees to an affordable transfer fee—reported to be in the €15-20 million range.

The club’s CEO, Giorgio Furlani, has reportedly given sporting director Igli Tare the go-ahead to intensify talks regarding Vlahovic. A key sticking point remains the striker’s salary demands. Milan aims to negotiate a pay cut for Vlahovic, potentially reducing his annual wage by about half, which would require Juventus’ cooperation in financially facilitating the deal through severance or other means.

Juventus, meanwhile, is expected to soften its stance in the coming weeks, partly driven by the need to clear space for new signings like Randal Kolo Muani. Vlahovic’s contract situation is currently stalling Juventus’ market activity, complicating efforts to bolster the squad.

Options for Vlahovic at Juventus appear limited. A contract extension, necessary to consider a loan move, seems unlikely. The alternatives are either remaining in Turin—risking exclusion from the squad—or negotiating a mutual termination with a settlement.
