Negotiations between Juventus and Kenan Yildiz’s representatives continue as the club aims to secure the Turkish star’s long-term future in Turin. The renewal of the 20-year-old number 10 remains one of the Bianconeri’s top priorities, with both the present and future of Igor Tudor’s side expected to revolve around the gifted playmaker.
Talks over a new deal that would tie Yildiz to Juventus until 2030 have been ongoing for some time, including a significant salary rise to reflect his growing importance. However, an agreement has yet to be finalised, with the two sides still apart on financial details.
Negotiations Intensifying
Since September, following a summer packed with the Club World Cup and a demanding transfer window, Juventus have stepped up discussions to accelerate a breakthrough. As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the club remains in constant contact with Yildiz’s camp to resolve the remaining differences and reach the so-called “white smoke” of an official announcement.
At present, there are still economic gaps between the parties’ requests and offers. Both sides are nevertheless pushing to narrow the distance and reach an understanding as soon as possible.
The Premier League Watches Closely
According to Romano (as quoted by calciomercato) , several Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the situation. Yildiz’s profile has generated significant interest across Europe, and from England in particular, multiple clubs could attempt to make a move in the summer of 2026—should Juventus fail to finalise the renewal.
Currently, Yildiz earns approximately €1.5 million per season, a figure that English sides could easily surpass if they were to pursue him seriously. Despite the potential lure of a Premier League payday, Juventus remain focused on achieving their main objective: sealing an agreement to extend Yildiz’s stay in Turin.
Another meeting between the club and the player’s representatives has already been scheduled, aiming to close the gap and bring the talks to a successful conclusion.
Yildiz’s Stand
From the player’s perspective, the situation is very clear. Yildiz reportedly has received no formal offers from other clubs and remains fully committed to Juventus. His intention, shared by the club, is to resolve the renewal issue as quickly as possible, putting an end to a negotiation that risks becoming increasingly tense with each passing week.
