Juventus have confirmed that UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings concerning possible breaches of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. The outcome of the investigation is expected by spring 2026.
According to the club’s financial report for the year ending 30 June 2025, the Bianconeri acknowledged the communication from UEFA dated 18 September, which referred to a potential violation of the “Football Earnings Rule” covering the three-season period between 2022/23 and 2024/25.
The club stated that while a sanction could be imposed, any financial penalty would likely be of “no significant amount”. There is also the possibility of sporting restrictions, such as limitations on player registrations for European competitions, though the precise measures remain uncertain.
Club’s Financial Status

The club also expects to meet the new maximum limit of 70% set for 2025, assuming no extraordinary events alter revenue or cost projections.
The statement read that the club “currently forecasts, based on present estimates of revenues and costs, continued compliance with the parameter for 2025,” highlighting stability in financial management following previous years of restructuring.
Furthermore, Juventus confirmed that it has consistently met the Overdue Payables requirement and expects to maintain compliance going forward.
Previous UEFA Sanctions
The club also recalled that on 28 July 2023, UEFA’s Club Financial Control Body had closed a previous case that resulted in Juventus’s exclusion from the 2023/24 UEFA Conference League. That decision also required a total economic contribution of €10 million — part already paid and part offset against Champions League revenues for the 2024/25 season.
An additional conditional fine of €10 million could apply if the club’s financial statements for 2023, 2024, or 2025 show major breaches of UEFA’s financial standards. However, as stated in the latest financial documentation, neither the club’s auditors nor UEFA have identified significant violations up to this point.
