Giovanni Branchini, a prominent football agent, spoke to TMW about rising Juventus star Kenan Yildiz and the growing transfer interest surrounding him. According to Branchini, Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso holds a strong admiration for the Turkish forward and has made his desire to sign him clear.
“Yildiz is wanted by Xabi Alonso at Real Madrid,” Branchini explained. “Xabi is willing to let go of anyone to get him — except Mbappé. Juventus are asking for €100 million, but that’s how it is today; everyone names that figure for top players, and someone always pays it. Of course, there’s also the example of Nico Williams — everyone wanted him, yet he renewed with Athletic and stayed. Yildiz is a clear request made to the ownership — he really likes him.”
Branchini also shared his thoughts on other Juventus transfer dealings, pointing out areas that could have been handled better.
“Huijsen was sold poorly, but when you’re forced to sell at all costs, that’s what happens,” he said. “For me, there are other questionable operations: Di Gregorio, even if he was excellent last night — when you already had Szczesny and Perin as your goalkeepers — or Douglas Luiz, who Aston Villa absolutely needed to sell. Beyond that, I think Juventus are not in a bad position overall.”
