Sporing v Juventus

Champions League | Juventus 1-1 Sporting CP: Player Ratings

Juventus were left to rue their missed chances and remain winless in the Champions League, despite having clear cut chances against Sporting.

Juventus

Di Gegorio: Might have done better on the Sporting opener. Seldom troubled thereafter. 5.5/10

Kalulu: Rough and tumble kind of performance but he was reliable at the back. 6.0/10

Gatti: Solid for much of the match, especially in the second half. 6.0/10

Koopmeiners: Has done reasonably well playing at LCB these past two games. Played his part in the equaliser 6.0/10

Cambiaso: A tad unlucky to be booked for his protestations when he was quite clearly fouled. 6/10

Thuram: Made a positive start but picked up a needless early booking and his positioning on the Sporting goal was poor. Redeemed himself by setting up the equalising goal with a brilliant assist for Vlahovic. Wasted two good chances when he was setup and looked a little off the pace by the time he was subbed off. 6.0/10

Locatelli: Positive start and almost equalised from range. At the heart of Juve’s midfield creativity. 6.0/10

Mckennie: A battling performance playing at RWB. 5.5/10

Yildiz: A tough opening half as he was closely marked but did find some space on occasions. Laid off a great ball to Thuram to help set up the equaliser and almost put Juventus ahead as the half came to a close. Continued to be the main creative force in attack. 6.5/10

Conceicao: Drove forward and put in a solid shift without having too much impact on the game. 5.5/10

Vlahovic: Could have had a hattrick in the opening 17 minutes, but for some fine goalkeeping from Silva. Took his goal with a poachers finish. 7/10
