The excellence of Juventus’ Allianz Stadium has once again been recognised, this time at the Social Football Summit, where it was highlighted as a benchmark for future host venues of the 2032 European Championships.
Speaking at the summit (as quoted by IlBianconero), held over two days in Turin at the Juventus headquarters, Michele Uva – Executive Director for Social and Environmental Sustainability and official delegate for Italy’s Euro 2032 Organising Committee – praised the stadium’s readiness and Italy’s overall progress towards hosting the tournament.
“I’m very positive about the organisation of the European Championships in our country,” Uva said. “Italy has until 1 October 2026 to present the five stadiums. The Allianz Stadium already meets all the required parameters, and it is the only one that does. However, several others are on the right track. What’s important is the commitment shown by the FIGC, the Ministry of Sport, and the Commissioner for Sports Infrastructure. When UEFA sees a positive system in place, it becomes clear that the goal can be achieved. For UEFA, Italy remains a historic and important nation.”
Sustainability at the Core
Uva also underlined Juventus’ leadership in sustainability and its alignment with modern European standards. “Just a few days ago, Juventus sent a very strong signal about how sustainability can be fully integrated into an overall strategy,” he noted. “The club was the first to report according to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). My compliments go to Greta Bodino for this achievement.”
