Activity is beginning to pick up at Continassa as Juventus prepare for the January transfer window. According to reports from Matteo Moretto, the Bianconeri are focusing their efforts on two specific positions — as well as working to secure the contract renewal of rising star Kenan Yildiz.
Right-back under review
Juventus are evaluating several names for the right-back position, an area that remains a priority. João Mário has yet to convince either Luciano Spalletti or the club’s management, and there is growing possibility he could leave as early as January. The search is therefore centred on finding a reliable option to strengthen the flank.
A new attacking option
Alongside a defender, Juventus are also looking for a right-sided attacking player — essentially a back-up to Kenan Yildiz. The aim is to bring in a player capable of giving the young number 10 the chance to rest without compromising the team’s attacking rhythm.
Yildiz renewal approaching
Although Yildiz’s current contract still has several years remaining, Juventus are intent on extending it before the end of the season. Talks are progressing positively, with optimism on both sides. The final agreement will depend on ironing out the financial details, but both the player and the club share a clear desire to continue together.
