Zhegrova

Zhegrova: “Happy to Be at Juve. Zeppetta? I Was Born With It”

After Juventus’ win, Edon Zhegrova spoke to DAZN about his first impressions in Turin, his relationship with coach Luciano Spalletti, and the now-famous “zeppetta” move.

Reflecting on the team’s performance, Zhegrova admitted it wasn’t an easy match but praised the group’s fighting spirit:

“The first half was difficult, but the team stayed united and we fought together. I want to put my qualities at the service of the group, and I’m happy to have helped the team.”

The Kosovo winger also shared his thoughts on life under Spalletti and the improvements he’s working on daily:

“I’m happy to be here; I work every day. The coach tries to help me and improve me. I try to follow his advice and get better defensively—because in modern football, you also have to contribute in defence. I used to do it at my previous club too. I’ve been out for a long time, so it doesn’t always come at 100%, but I’m giving my best.”

Finally, he smiled when asked about his trademark dribble, now dubbed the “zeppetta”:

“I was born with my qualities; I never trained it. And thanks to the coach for inventing the term.”
