Serie A | Cagliari v Juventus: Probable starting lineups

The emphatic win over Cremonese is already in the past — Juventus must quickly shift focus to another crucial league fixture. The Bianconeri travel to Sardinia this evening to face Cagliari, currently 16th in the table with 19 points, five above the relegation zone.

For Juventus, sitting seven points behind the league leaders and firmly in the Champions League zone, every point now carries added weight. With their European campaign resuming midweek against Benfica, the club are determined to consolidate their top-four position and maintain momentum in Serie A.

Cagliari, meanwhile, remain a tricky opponent. The reverse fixture in Turin was far from straightforward, as Juve needed a comeback — inspired by a Kenan Yildiz brace — to secure victory.

Luciano Spalletti has a full squad available, including Yildiz, who has recovered from a mild flu earlier in the week. Francisco Conceição and Federico Gatti are also back in contention after recent injuries. Despite the congested fixture list, Spalletti is not expected to rotate heavily, preferring continuity after recent strong performances.

Cagliari boss Fabio Pisacane, on the other hand, faces several absences — particularly in midfield, where options are limited. His team will nonetheless aim to make life difficult for the visitors and build on their home form.
