Juventus continue to be active in the transfer market, with Aston Villa’s Guessand emerging as the latest name on their radar.
The Bianconeri, under Luciano Spalletti, are determined to strengthen their squad ahead of the second half of the season. As Giorgio Chiellini recently noted, the club’s focus remains on adding depth and quality to the team. After missing out on Jean-Philippe Mateta and Youssef En-Nesyri, Juventus have now turned their attention to Guessand, who currently plays for Aston Villa.
According to Sky, Juventus have made initial enquiries about the French forward, born in 2001, to assess the feasibility of a potential deal. Interestingly, the connection between the two clubs has been renewed following the recent loan move of Douglas Luiz from Juventus to Aston Villa.
However, bringing Guessand to Turin will not be straightforward. Reports suggest that Crystal Palace hold a strong advantage in negotiations, with talks between the London club and Aston Villa already at an advanced stage.
