Licina

Adin Licina, the 2007-Born Playmaker Juventus Have Signed from Bayern Munich

Juventus have secured another signing for the future, completing the deal for Adin Licina — a talented young attacking midfielder arriving from Bayern Munich. The move follows a similar path to that of Kenan Yildiz, who joined the Bianconeri from the German champions in the summer of 2022.

Who Is Adin Licina

Born in 2007, Adin Licina is a German playmaker with Montenegrin roots. He came through Bayern Munich’s youth academy, progressing steadily from the Under-17s to the Under-19s before earning promotion to the Bavarian club’s reserve side in the summer of 2024.

On the international stage, Licina has already represented Germany at youth level, featuring for the Under-15, Under-17, and most recently, the Under-19 national teams — remarkable steps for such a young player.

Role and Playing Style

Licina is a highly versatile attacking player who can operate across the final third. Naturally a left-footed trequartista, he is capable of playing both as a central creator and as a wide forward on either flank, often in an inverted role cutting inside onto his stronger foot.

Technically refined, Licina thrives in one-on-one situations and possesses notable quickness and vision. His combination of flair, agility, and creativity make him a constant danger in attacking transitions and tight spaces.

Yet to Debut for Bayern’s First Team

Although Licina has featured regularly for Bayern’s second team, he has not yet made a senior debut under Vincent Kompany. He has taken part in first-team training sessions but is still waiting for his breakthrough at senior level.

Linked to Yildiz’s Agency and Deal Details

Licina joins Juventus on a permanent transfer, with Bayern Munich retaining a significant future stake in his progression. The German club will reportedly receive 30% of any future resale and retain the right to match potential offers should Juventus decide to sell the player.

Interestingly, Licina is represented by the same agency that manages Kenan Yildiz — another sign of the Bianconeri’s growing ties within the German youth scene.

Juventus Pathway: From Next Gen Upwards

With his Bayern contract set to expire in five months, Juventus acted swiftly to secure the youngster’s signature. Licina is expected to begin his Italian adventure with Brambilla’s Next Gen squad in Serie C, where he will have the chance to adapt to Italian football and further develop his game.

The long-term goal is clear — to follow in the footsteps of Kenan Yildiz and make the leap from the youth setup to the senior side. Juventus see Licina as a creative midfielder with significant potential, a player who could become a pillar of the club’s future.
