Vlahovic Returns to Training at Continassa

Dusan Vlahovic can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. The Serbian striker has resumed working at Continassa, marking an important step in his recovery from injury. Under the close supervision of Juventus’ medical and fitness staff, IlBianconero report that Vlahovic continues his rehabilitation and conditioning program — still carefully, but with clear signs of progress.

Chiellini on Vlahovic’s Recovery

Providing an update on the forward’s condition was Giorgio Chiellini, Juventus’ Director of Football Strategy, who spoke to DAZN about the club’s cautious approach.

“Vlahovic will be back in a while, not very soon — it’s a significant injury,” Chiellini said. He then offered a more specific timeline: “We expect Dusan to return in about a month to a month and a half.”

When Will Vlahovic Be Back?

Based on Chiellini’s comments, Juventus are aiming for Vlahovic’s return between early and mid-March. The priority remains to avoid any risk of relapse, so each phase of his recovery will be evaluated daily. The plan is to reintegrate him gradually — possibly giving him some minutes before restoring him to a full starting role.

The Injury Against Cagliari

Vlahovic has been sidelined since November 29, during the match against Cagliari. In the 29th minute of the first half, after a quick run followed by a diagonal shot, he felt a sharp pain in his left thigh and immediately asked to be substituted. Medical tests later revealed a high-grade lesion of the muscle-tendon junction in his left adductor longus — a serious injury requiring a long and careful recovery period.

Managing the Comeback

His return to the training ground is an encouraging sign, but Juventus are not rushing anything. The club’s goal is to bring Vlahovic back only when he’s at peak physical and athletic condition, ensuring he can make the difference in the crucial final stretch of the season.

Vlahovic’s recovery is well on track. The hardest part is behind him, but the message from Juventus is clear: patience. For the Bianconeri, having a fully fit Vlahovic is worth far more than any premature return.
