Icardi’s agent denies “10 goals against Juventus” claim and Galatasaray request rumours

Mauro Icardi’s agent, Letterio Pino, has spoken out to clarify the recent speculation surrounding his client and the rumours linking the Galatasaray striker with Juventus during the final days of the transfer window.

In the past few days, reports suggested that Icardi could become a target for the Bianconeri, but both Giorgio Chiellini and Luciano Spalletti firmly denied any possibility of such a move. Adding to the wave of corrections, Pino addressed what he described as “baseless rumours” regarding a supposed promise from Icardi and an alleged transfer fee demand by Galatasaray.

Icardi never made any “Juventus promise”

According to Pino, claims that Icardi told Juventus he would “score ten goals” if signed are completely false. The agent stressed that his client never made such statements to anyone at the club.

He also dismissed talk that Galatasaray requested €15 million to sanction a potential transfer, criticising how quickly unverified stories spread.

“Mauro Icardi never said he would score ten goals in six months at Juventus. It’s also untrue that Galatasaray asked for €15 million for him,” said Pino. “In the past, people used to verify information before publishing it. Now, one false story is enough for everyone to repeat it. These are two complete absurdities.”
