Yildiz

Yildiz trains partially with the team ahead of Atalanta–Juventus: Spalletti’s decision revealed

There are important updates from Continassa ahead of Atalanta–Juventus, the Coppa Italia quarter-final set to take place at the New Balance Arena in Bergamo.

The Bianconeri carried out their final training session under Luciano Spalletti’s guidance on Thursday morning, with all eyes on the fitness of Kenan Yildiz, who had been managing a minor muscle issue following the win away to Parma.

Partial training for Yildiz

The Turkish forward was present at training and took part in part of the group session. His workload was carefully managed due to a slight overload in his adductor muscle, which has slowed his recovery in recent days.

Decision for the Coppa Italia clash

Despite not being at full fitness, Yildiz will be included in the squad travelling to Bergamo. However, the expectation is that he will start on the bench, with Spalletti ready to use him later in the game if required.

Juventus remain confident that Yildiz will continue to improve in the coming days, with the club keen to avoid any unnecessary risk to one of their most exciting young talents.
