Bremer Injury Update: No Lesion Detected, Recovery Underway

Following Juventus’ disappointing Champions League defeat away to Galatasaray, Gleison Bremer underwent medical tests at J|Medical to assess the extent of his injury sustained during the match in Istanbul.

The Brazilian defender was forced off in the 34th minute of the first half after feeling discomfort of a muscular nature. Despite initially attempting to continue, Bremer soon realised he could not proceed and signalled to the bench. Head coach Luciano Spalletti replaced him with Federico Gatti.

The Defender’s Condition

Fortunately for Juventus, the medical examinations have ruled out any muscle lesions. The scans returned negative results, meaning Bremer has avoided a serious injury. The player’s condition will be closely monitored on a day-to-day basis to determine his readiness to return to training and matches.

Recovery Timeline

Although the tests brought reassuring news, Bremer is still considered doubtful for the upcoming Serie A fixture against Como, scheduled for Saturday, 21 February, at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. His participation will depend on how his recovery progresses over the next few days, with the club opting for caution to avoid any risk of recurrence.
