Arthur Melo sends message from Brazil: future and transfer talk

Arthur

From Brazil, Arthur Melo has spoken about his future in an interview with Ge Glob*, sending a clear message about his intentions amid ongoing speculation surrounding his next move.

The midfielder, currently on loan at Grêmio from Juventus, made no secret of where his heart lies: “My desire is to stay at Grêmio. I’ve said it several times — it’s my home,” he explained.

Arthur also underlined his respect for existing agreements, reminding that a contract binds him to both clubs: “The initial agreement between Juventus and Grêmio states that I’ll stay until June and then return. For now, that’s how it is, because we have a contract.”

As for possible interest from other teams, the Brazilian remained focused: “I don’t know if there’s been any contact from other clubs, because my concentration is on Grêmio until June. Regardless of what happens, I want to give my best.”

However, he admitted that his future remains uncertain: “Whether I’ll stay or not isn’t up to me alone. I have a contract with both Grêmio and Juventus, and that will be respected. After that, we’ll see what happens — we’ll have to talk about it.”

Arthur concluded with a message that leaves the door open to discussions with Juventus: “Obviously, if Juventus are open to negotiations, everyone knows that my wish is to remain.”
