Alisson Among Juventus’ Top Targets for Goalkeeper Role

Juventus are beginning to map out their plans for next season, with the club evaluating several key positions to strengthen their squad. Alongside discussions over contract renewals for Luciano Spalletti and Dusan Vlahovic, attention is turning toward both attacking and defensive reinforcements.

While improving the strike force remains a priority — with Randal Kolo Muani reportedly keen to return to Turin for a second spell — the goalkeeping position has also become a major talking point at Continassa. According to Sky Sport, Alisson Becker ranks among Juventus’ leading options to strengthen the goal.

Juventus Assessing Goalkeeper Options

This season has exposed some frailties at the back for the Bianconeri, particularly in their ability to repel dangerous opposition attacks. Michele Di Gregorio, criticised earlier in the campaign after several costly errors, has been out of action for over a month following a difficult outing against Como. Since then, Mattia Perin has taken over between the posts, though his long-term future in the starting role remains uncertain.

Alisson Back on the Juventus Radar

Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Alisson has emerged as one of Juventus’ top preferences for the goalkeeper position. The Brazilian, now 33, has been a key figure for Liverpool since joining from Roma, with his current contract at Anfield set to expire in June 2027.

A potential Juventus move, however, would not be straightforward. Alisson commands a wage of around €10 million per season, a figure that could complicate any transfer. Nonetheless, should a significant offer arrive, the player may consider a return to Italy, where he previously spent two impressive seasons with Roma before heading to England.

Other Candidates Under Consideration

Juventus have also kept tabs on several alternative targets. Emiliano ‘Dibu’ Martinez and Guglielmo Vicario remain under observation, while Marco Carnesecchi continues to attract attention despite Atalanta valuing him at about €40 million.

At present, the trail for Martinez appears cool, whereas Vicario could become a more concrete option should he decide to leave Tottenham at the end of the season. For Juventus, the coming months will be decisive in determining who will guard the posts in 2026–27.
