Juventus were beaten 3-0 by Lazio at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, with goals from Oliver Provstgaard, Gustav Isaksen and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru leaving the Bianconeri eighth in Serie A and booed off by their own fans. Here’s how every Juventus player rated in a miserable afternoon in Turin.
With Spalletti serving a touchline ban after his dismissal at Cagliari, Marco Domenichini took charge from the bench. Juve had the early pressure, but it came to nothing. Lazio took the lead in the 37th minute when Provstgaard headed in from a set-piece, and Juve could not find an equaliser. Their best spell came after the break, when substitute Woltemade used his physical presence to set up a long-range effort that Lucumì dragged wide. But Isaksen doubled the lead in the 66th minute with a fine finish, and Dele-Bashiru sealed the win in the 89th minute with an excellent run and finish on the counter. Kolo Muani had a late header from a Woltemade delivery that sailed over the bar. Juve managed just nine shots, only two on target, with an xG of 0.74. It was their heaviest home league defeat by Lazio in a generation, and Spalletti said afterwards that he’d seen an “inferior” Juventus, slow in both legs and mind.
