Giovanni Galeone, former coach and mentor to Massimiliano Allegri, has shared his insights on the potential future moves of the renowned Italian manager. In a recent interview with Radio Kiss Kiss, Galeone offered his perspective on Allegri’s career trajectory and the coaching landscape in Serie A.
“I believe in the possibility of Allegri returning to Milan, but he will never go back to Juventus,” Galeone stated, addressing the swirling rumors about Allegri’s next destination. This comment comes amidst growing speculation about potential changes in the Milan dugout, with current reports suggesting that the Rossoneri are considering a coaching change for the upcoming season.
Galeone’s statement adds fuel to the ongoing discussions about Milan’s managerial situation. With the club reportedly eyeing a return to its former glory, the prospect of bringing back a proven winner like Allegri seems to be gaining traction.
However, Galeone was equally emphatic about ruling out a return to Juventus for Allegri. This assertion is particularly interesting given Allegri’s successful tenure with the Bianconeri, where he won multiple Serie A titles and reached two Champions League finals.
Turning his attention to Juventus’ current situation, Galeone offered his thoughts on who might replace Thiago Motta, whose position has become increasingly precarious following recent poor results. “The new coach of Juventus in place of Thiago Motta could be Gian Piero Gasperini, who might leave Atalanta at the end of the season,” he suggested.
