Allegri: “Juventus Are a Strong Team” – The Milan Coach Speaks on the Title Race and Spalletti

Start

Massimiliano Allegri has spoken once again about Juventus, this time from the rossonero side of Milan. Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Milan’s clash with Genoa at San Siro, the Tuscan manager reflected on the Serie A title race and shared his thoughts on his former club.

Allegri on Juventus and the Scudetto Race

When asked about Juventus’s chances of competing for the Scudetto, Allegri offered a measured but respectful response.

“Are Juventus in the title race? There are teams with games in hand, so it’s a matter of numbers,” he noted. “I think the title will be decided between 86 and 88 points. To reach that total, you need around 50 points in the second half of the season – and Juventus can achieve that because they are a strong team.”

The former Juventus coach went on to highlight the work being done under Luciano Spalletti, acknowledging the positive trajectory the Bianconeri have shown in recent months.

“With Spalletti, they’ve found the consistency and results needed to stay near the top,” Allegri added. “What matters is to arrive in March still close to the leading four teams.”
