Federico Pastorello, agent of Brazilian midfielder Arthur, has shed light on his client’s situation and future amid speculation about a potential return to Juventus. The player, currently on loan at Gremio, remains under contract with the Turin club.
Before his return to Brazil, Pastorello revealed that Arthur had considered staying in Turin. “We had evaluated the possibility of remaining at Juventus, but there was a different coach at the time,” he explained. “Now, I believe Luciano Spalletti is looking for a more physical and impactful type of player. I’m not sure Arthur fits that profile.”
The agent spoke highly of his client’s performances in Brazil, praising his resurgence with Gremio. “Arthur is doing exceptionally well at Gremio. We hope that Carlo Ancelotti will call him back into the national team because he’s performing at an excellent level in Brazil,” said Pastorello.
While Arthur’s contract still belongs to Juventus, the plan remains to complete his loan spell with Gremio, which runs until June next year. “I don’t foresee any big surprises,” Pastorello added. “He’s very happy with the decision he made; he needed consistency and has found it again in Brazil.”
