“There Is No Reason for Andrea to Leave Juventus — Unless Something Extraordinary Arrives”
Bia’s message was unambiguous: “There is no reason for Andrea to leave Juventus, unless an extremely significant offer arrives that satisfies both him and the club.” The framing is important. It is not a permanent door closing — Cambiaso is, after all, one of Juventus’s most saleable assets and a player whose book value of approximately €6 million means virtually any serious offer would generate a meaningful capital gain. But the bar for a departure is deliberately set high.
“Andrea is extremely happy playing for Juventus,” Bia continued. “It is the dream of every child to play for Juventus, Inter, or Milan. In the past there was interest from Manchester City. Andrea would only consider leaving Juventus for a very significant offer from a top club — not from a mid-table side, even in the Premier League.”
The Frattesi Swap: Killed Off Officially
The agent also addressed the Frattesi exchange rumour — which has circulated repeatedly throughout the summer — with an emphatically short answer. “Sincerely, I have never received any request. Sometimes people ask me whether a swap with Frattesi is possible. We have never spoken about a swap.” It is as clean a denial as the transfer market ever produces.
What This Means in Practice
Cambiaso will play — or at least be involved — in tonight’s Perth friendly against Inter, the club with whom his name has most frequently been linked in swap discussions this summer.
