Former Italian football star Antonio Cassano has launched a blistering attack on Juventus’ management following their decision to sack Thiago Motta and appoint Igor Tudor as the new head coach. Speaking on the program “Viva El Futbol,” Cassano didn’t mince words as he criticized the club’s handling of the situation and questioned their decision-making process.

Cassano began by acknowledging his previous criticisms of Motta, stating, “I stand by my criticisms of Thiago. At this moment, he was unsuitable for a team of a certain status and he did very poorly. He didn’t enhance the players’ value.” However, he expressed shock at the club’s actions, adding, “But I didn’t expect them to do this st. When they talk about Juventus style, I want to understand what the fk it means. Juventus style? What style? It’s a s**t style.”

The former Milan and Inter striker then turned his attention to Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ sporting director, questioning the chain of command within the club. “Who’s in charge at Juve today? If Giuntoli is responsible, he should resign. He hired Motta, and after the Fiorentina match, he said we’ll start again with Motta and we believe in him. If Giuntoli is in charge and he’s done this s**t, he should say: I resign, and then I would applaud him.”

Cassano speculated that Giuntoli might be using the situation as a scapegoat, stating, “I think he’s been passing the buck. If he’s not in charge, someone needs to tell us who is.” He added that if Giuntoli isn’t truly in control, “he should resign anyway and leave the money there.”

In a final scathing remark, Cassano dismissed the notion of club status and DNA as “nonsense,” concluding, “Amateurs work better than this.”
