Fabio Galante, former teammate and close friend of Luciano Spalletti, has shared some insight into the Juventus coach’s thoughts on key players such as Dusan Vlahovic and Andrea Cambiaso. Having played together at Empoli, the two have maintained a close relationship over the years, often staying in touch even during their respective careers in different roles.
Speaking in an interview with Tuttosport, Galante revealed that Spalletti has a particular admiration for Cambiaso, a player he sees as integral to his tactical ideas. “When he was still coaching the Azzurri and I had dinner with him, he’d often talk about his formations and systems. Every time, Cambiaso was part of the discussion. He absolutely loves him,” Galante said with a smile.

Galante also shared Spalletti’s opinion on Dusan Vlahovic, another player highly valued by the Juventus manager. “He spoke to me about Vlahovic just a few days ago,” Galante revealed. “He said he’s a force of nature and will be a key figure for his Juventus side.”
