“I Had a Bit of Anxiety”: Bremer Returns in Juventus’ Win over Parma

Gleison Bremer made his long-awaited return to competitive football as Juventus overcame Parma, and the Brazilian defender delivered a solid performance after more than 300 days away from official action. Playing the full match, Bremer showed resilience and composure, proving once again his importance to the Bianconeri backline.

After the game, the former Torino player shared his feelings with DAZN, openly admitting to the emotions he carried into the fixture.

Bremer: “I Had a Bit of Anxiety”

Reflecting on the match, Bremer said:

“I was there at the right time in the right place, I’m there to help the team. It was a good game individually and collectively because we won.”

The centre-back then revealed the nerves he felt before stepping back on to the pitch:

“The day before the match I was already suffering a bit, I had a bit of anxiety. Step by step, as the match went on and I did something good, the confidence came. My teammates were also excellent.”

“Inter and Napoli Have Something More”

Looking ahead to the Scudetto race, Bremer remained realistic yet hopeful about Juventus’ chances, acknowledging the strength of their rivals:
“We need to think match by match. We all know that Napoli and Inter have something more than us, but if we put in desire and sacrifice, we can keep up with their rhythm.”
