“I Studied Davis” – Bremer; “Conceição’s Goal? We Can’t Change It” – Yildiz Speaks to DAZN After Udinese v Juventus

Gleison Bremer and Kenan Yildiz reflected on Juventus’ hard-fought 1–0 win away to Udinese, analysing both the defensive performance and the key attacking moments in their post-match interviews with DAZN and Sky. The Bianconeri’s solidity at the back and Yildiz’s growing influence in the final third were central themes in their comments.

Bremer: “I Had Studied Davis”

Bremer underlined the collective effort, especially from a defensive point of view, after recent matches in which Juventus had conceded too many goals. “It was a great game from the whole team, especially in defence, because we had been conceding too many goals, and the important thing was to win,” he said.

Speaking about his duel with Udinese forward Davis, he revealed the preparation behind it. “Davis? We knew it was going to be a tough game, not just because of him,” Bremer explained. “He is having a good season, I had studied him and we managed to contain him well.”

Bremer also stressed how crucial away wins are at this stage of the season. “Away matches are difficult, especially against a physical side like Udinese,” he added. “The important thing was to win and we did it. It was a game we had to win; what depends on us is winning our games and hoping others slip up, but our job is to win our matches.”

Yildiz: “Conceição’s Goal? We Can’t Change It”

Kenan Yildiz focused on the intensity of the match and the attacking dynamics, highlighting the pace battle with his direct opponents. “I think something changed because he is quick – I am quick too, but he is even quicker,” he said. “We played well and it was a great match.”

Yildiz reflected on his role across the front line. “I’ve played a few games through the middle,” he noted. “I made some sprints there, but I’ve played more often on the left.” He was also asked about Conceição’s disallowed goal, which had sparked controversy. “The goal by Conceição? I don’t know, it’s like that and we can’t change it,” he commented.

Looking at his numbers and development, Yildiz reiterated that his focus remains on the team. On the prospect of reaching “10 goals and 10 assists”, he replied: “Fine, I always do everything for the team. We played a great match against a strong side like Udinese and I’m happy for the group. I always try to do more, but I always do it for the team; the rest comes by itself.”

He also reflected on his journey since his debut. “My debut here in 2023? I’ve grown in my head and in my mentality,” Yildiz concluded. “I’m happy with the path I’m on, but I know I can still do even more.”
