“I’m Angry — We Must Give More”: Locatelli Speaks After Juventus’ Defeat to Como

Manuel Locatelli did not hide his frustration after Juventus fell 2–0 away to Como. The Bianconeri captain faced the DAZN (as quoted by ilbianconero)  cameras and delivered an honest assessment of a performance that left him “angry” and calling for greater commitment from the entire squad.

“I’m angry about how we played”

“We can’t afford to lose matches like this,” said Locatelli. “I’m angry about how we played, because we got the small details wrong — the ones that make the difference. We spoke with the coach after the game, and there are things that have to be improved. Now we’ve got a match against Real Madrid, and we need to focus on that.”

Reflecting on the match, the Italy international admitted that Juventus struggled from the start. “In the first half we lost too many second balls and too many duels. We have a lot of things to work on, but the next game gives us a big opportunity to show improvement. We’re angry, but this match is gone now.”

“We need to give more”

Locatelli was equally clear about what he expects moving forward. “We should have tried to use the wide players more quickly — they’re great players who can make the difference and win games for us,” he said. “Maybe something will change; that’s for the manager to decide. But when you wear this shirt, there are no excuses. You have an obligation to play to win — no talk of tiredness or alibis. We need to be on the pitch, improve, and give more than we’re giving now.”
