Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram spoke to DAZN (as quoted by ilbianconero) ahead of the Derby della Mole against Torino, reflecting on his recent form, his relationship with coach Luciano Spalletti, and his decision to prioritise club football over the national team.
Discussing his physical and mental condition going into the derby, Thuram underlined his growing confidence within the Juventus squad.
“I feel good with the team; we played a good match against Sporting,” he said. “I didn’t go with the national team, but it’s more important to be strong with my team, which is Juve.”
The French midfielder also praised Luciano Spalletti for the trust and clarity the coach has shown since taking charge.
“He has good ideas and asks me to play the way I know and the way I’m already doing,” Thuram explained. “He gives me confidence, and that’s a good thing.”
