Juventus have reached an agreement with Belgian side Westerlo for the loan transfer of Swedish full-back Jonas Rouhi. The deal, as reported by Tribuna, also includes an option for Westerlo to make the move permanent.
Rouhi Set to Leave Juventus
Jonas Rouhi, born in 2004, is preparing to say goodbye to the Bianconeri after struggling to find space in recent months. The young defender had already seen his opportunities shrink last season, and since Igor Tudor’s arrival as coach, he has not appeared in official matches.
The Terms of the Deal
The agreement between Juventus and Westerlo is initially for a loan, but it also contains a purchase option. This means that Rouhi’s departure could turn into a permanent exit depending on how he adapts in Belgium. The two clubs have already reached a verbal agreement, with only the medical examinations left to formalize the move.
Current Focus on International Duty
At the moment, Rouhi is with Sweden’s Under-21 national team, taking part in the qualification campaign for the 2027 European Championship. Once his commitments with the national side are completed, he is expected to undergo medical checks before officially joining Westerlo.
