Juventus and Igor Tudor have reached an agreement to terminate the contract that bound the Croatian coach to the club. The decision was finalised in recent hours, officially bringing an end to Tudor’s brief tenure with the Bianconeri.
Tudor took over from Thiago Motta in March 2025, guiding Juventus to a fourth-place finish in Serie A and securing qualification for the Champions League. He also led the team through the Club World Cup, where they reached the round of 16.
Despite those initial results, his second spell in charge did not last long. Confirmed as head coach during the summer and extending his contract until 30 June 2027, Tudor struggled to maintain consistency in the early months of the 2025/26 season. A series of mixed performances ultimately led to his dismissal in October, with Luciano Spalletti appointed as his successor.
Across his 24 matches at the helm — spanning Serie A, the Champions League, and the Club World Cup — Tudor recorded 10 wins, 8 draws, and 6 defeats, finishing with a win percentage of 41.7%.
With his contract now officially terminated, Tudor is free to seek a new coaching role. However, under the current Italian football regulations, he cannot manage another Serie A team this season.
Meanwhile, Thiago Motta remains under contract with Juventus. The Italian-Brazilian coach, who was dismissed in March 2025 after only ten months in charge, is still tied to the club until 30 June 2027. At present, there are no ongoing discussions regarding the termination of his deal.
