Juventus Confirm Igor Tudor as Head Coach for 2025/26 Season

Start

Juventus have put an end to speculation about its coaching future with the official confirmation that Igor Tudor will remain at the helm for the 2025/26 season. The announcement came during a highly anticipated press conference held by Damien Comolli, who recently took on the role of general manager at the club.

Just ten days after Comolli’s appointment was made official and less than a week into his tenure, the French executive addressed the media to outline the club’s direction. One of the most pressing questions was the fate of Tudor, whose future had been the subject of much debate in recent weeks.

Tudor, who initially joined Juventus in March, was already set to lead the team into the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. His contract had been extended until June 2026 following the club’s qualification for the Champions League, but there remained a clause allowing Juventus to terminate the extension by paying a small penalty fee. With the arrival of the new management, there was uncertainty about whether the club would exercise this option.

Comolli’s words put all doubts to rest: “Tudor will be our coach for the 2025/26 season and I hope for even longer.” This statement not only confirms Tudor’s position for the next campaign but also leaves the door open for a further contract renewal beyond the current expiry in June 2026.
