Muharemovic

Juventus Could Cash In on Muharemovic’s Rising Value

The name of Tarik Muharemovic has resurfaced with force in the transfer market discussions. The Bosnian defender, born in 2004 and currently playing for Sassuolo, has been one of Serie A’s standout revelations this season. His consistent performances have caught the eye of several Italian and foreign clubs, with Inter reportedly ready to take concrete action.

IlBianconero report that, over in Turin, Juventus are watching the situation with interest. The Bianconeri, in fact, hold a significant sell-on percentage on any future transfer involving the player.

From Juve Talent to Sassuolo Standout

Muharemovic grew up at Wolfsberger in Austria before joining Juventus in the summer of 2022. After two seasons split between the Primavera and Next Gen sides, the defender moved to Sassuolo on loan in 2024, with an option to buy set at around €3 million.

The Emilia-based club decided to make the move permanent following his impressive displays in Serie B and the early stages of this Serie A campaign, securing him outright.

Juve’s Lucrative Sell-On Clause

The terms of the Sassuolo agreement include a 50% sell-on clause in favour of Juventus. In practice, should Sassuolo sell Muharemovic for, say, €20 million, Juventus would receive a hefty €10 million. It represents a potentially lucrative piece of business for the Turin club, especially considering the youngster never made a first-team appearance before his departure.

Inter’s Growing Interest

Reports from multiple market sources suggest that Inter are closely following Muharemovic’s development. His versatility and reliability make him an ideal fit for Chivu’s defensive system. Meanwhile, Juventus remain attentive spectators: as Muharemovic’s market value rises, so too does the potential for a substantial financial reward for the club.
