Darwin Nunez is at a career crossroads, with his future at Liverpool increasingly uncertain. The Uruguayan striker has spent the summer preparing for a possible exit, particularly after being left out of Liverpool’s most recent friendly match. Eager for a new challenge after a Premier League stint that didn’t fully meet expectations, Nunez is being evaluated by several top clubs, including Juventus.
Tuttosport report (as quoted by ilbianconero) that Juventus have already taken initial steps to explore a move for Nunez, engaging both Liverpool and the striker’s agents to gauge the feasibility of a transfer. However, Nunez is not currently the first-choice target for Juventus. The Bianconeri are prioritizing Randal Kolo Muani for their attacking lineup, but with negotiations with PSG remaining complicated, the club wants to ensure backup options are in place.
If talks for Kolo Muani stall, Juventus intends to be fully prepared, and Nunez is now at the top of the club’s list of secondary targets. Discussions with Liverpool have revealed an initial asking price of €60 million, a figure Liverpool recently quoted to Napoli as well. There is, however, potential for this fee to decrease, depending on the structure of any proposed deal. Juventus is considering a loan arrangement with either an option or obligation to buy under certain conditions.
Nunez is drawing attention from other Serie A clubs as well. Napoli initially evaluated a move for him before focusing their efforts on Lorenzo Lucca, while Milan remains more interested in Dusan Vlahovic. Outside Italy, Saudi Arabian clubs are monitoring the situation, with Al Hilal specifically searching for a new striker after missing out on Alexander Isak and Victor Osimhen. The Saudi side could soon present a significant offer to both Nunez and Liverpool.
