Juventus are on the lookout for a right-back in the transfer market as new coach Luciano Spalletti plans to switch to a four-man defence. Currently, the squad includes three players capable of playing that role: Italian Andrea Cambiaso, Frenchman Pierre Kalulu, and Portuguese Joao Mario, who joined last summer for €12.6 million from Porto.
Now, according to Calciomercato, Juventus have set their sights on Gady Beyuku, a 19-year-old French right-back with Congolese roots, who plays for Modena. Beyuku, under contract with Modena until June 2026 with an option to extend until 2028, has featured 22 times in Serie B, scoring twice and accumulating four yellow cards in 971 minutes played. He joined Modena in summer 2024 after progressing through Triestina’s youth ranks and previous French youth clubs.
Other clubs showing interest in Beyuku include FC Basel, Lorient, Salzburg, Standard Liege and Stuttgart, highlighting the player’s growing profile. Juventus appear keen to secure him ahead of rivals, viewing him as a promising talent who can strengthen their defensive options for the future.
Meanwhile, Juventus continue to monitor several other right-back candidates including England’s Brooke Norton-Cuffy from Genoa, Argentina’s Nahuel Molina of Atletico Madrid, Spain’s Arnau Martinez of Girona, the Netherlands’ Jordan Teze from Monaco, Italy’s Marco Palestra (on loan at Cagliari from Atalanta), Turkey’s Zeki Celik of Roma, and Frenchmen Jonathan Clauss from Nice and Sacha Boey from Bayern Munich. This extensive scouting shows the club’s determination to reinforce their squad with both youthful potential and established performers.
