Juventus, Fresh Contacts with Vlahovic over New Deal

Juventus have opened new lines of communication with the entourage of Dusan Vlahovic as they work to extend the Serbian striker’s contract. Off the pitch, alongside concerns over Khephren Thuram’s fitness, the club are focused on shaping the squad for the future, and Vlahovic’s situation is one of the main priorities.

The forward’s current deal is due to expire at the end of the season, and discussions are ongoing over a possible renewal. Luciano Spalletti has made his stance clear: he wants to continue working with Vlahovic. The Serbian is edging back to full fitness after the injury lay-off that required surgery, and he is seen as a profile well-suited to the demands Spalletti places on his central striker.

Talks and a Bridge Renewal

According to the latest reports from IlBianconero, contacts between Juventus and Vlahovic’s camp are continuing and have intensified in recent days. The Bianconeri are reportedly ready to put an offer on the table worth around €6 million net per season, or slightly less, for an additional one or two years. It would effectively represent a bridge renewal, bringing his salary closer to that of Kenan Yildiz and in line with the club’s new wage structure.

The proposal is far below the player’s current salary, which is roughly double that figure, and for that reason the negotiation is anything but straightforward. However, it is not considered impossible. Both parties remain at work, with Juventus keen to avoid losing their number nine for nothing and Vlahovic evaluating the possibility of staying on in Turin under a coach who trusts him and a project in which he can remain central.
