Juventus launch “Juventus Play” – a new free-to-air TV channel for fans

Juventus have unveiled Juventus Play, a new free-to-air FAST television channel dedicated entirely to the world of the Bianconeri. Available in Italy on Rakuten TV, the channel offers supporters direct access to exclusive content, live broadcasts and historical archives, deepening the connection between the club and its global community.

A new home for Juventus fans

Accessible without subscriptions or registration, Juventus Play allows viewers to immerse themselves in 24-hour Juventus coverage. The platform has been developed in collaboration with Globant, the club’s technology partner, and will expand to a wider range of connected TVs from 2026.

The channel aims to bring Juventus into the daily lives of fans through an extensive schedule featuring replays of matches from the men’s and women’s first teams, the Next Gen squad and the Under-20 side. It also includes live press conferences, original productions from the Juventus Creator Lab, and historical content that preserves and celebrates the club’s legacy.

Behind the scenes and exclusive features

To mark the launch, Juventus Play will debut an exclusive documentary dedicated to the induction of the 1985 Intercontinental Cup shirt into the club’s Hall of Fame – a behind-the-scenes story celebrating the day Juventus became the first European team to win every international trophy.

The club’s vision

“Through Juventus Play, we are expanding the ways and means by which we tell our story to the world,” said Mattia Fontana, Juventus Head of Media. “This project was born from the desire to be even more accessible and present in the everyday lives of our supporters. It strengthens our media ecosystem and reinforces the direct bond between the club and its community. The free model allows us to go beyond traditional distribution, offering content designed specifically for different platforms and viewing habits.”

Giorgio Tacchia, Global Head of Sports & Media at Globant, added: “Our collaboration with Juventus for the launch of this new FAST channel marks another important step in supporting iconic clubs on their path towards digital transformation. Together with Juventus, we are leveraging our expertise in designing and managing complex technological ecosystems to build new modes of content consumption and strengthen the bond between the club and its fans through digital innovation.”
