Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi has made a clear assessment of what the Bianconeri need to become title contenders once again. Speaking to Sportmediaset (as quoted by TuttoJuve) , Tacchinardi outlined his vision for the squad’s improvement, naming three specific players he believes would transform the team.
“What is missing from this Juventus? They are missing an Osimhen, that is, a player in attack who brings leadership on the pitch because this team desperately needs leaders on the field,” Tacchinardi said. He emphasized the importance of having a commanding presence up front, singling out Napoli’s Victor Osimhen as the ideal candidate.
Tacchinardi also highlighted the need for reinforcement in midfield and defence. “They need a good midfielder to play alongside Thuram, and a full-back. I really like Lucumi from Bologna,” he explained. His shortlist for Juventus’ summer transfer window is clear: “So, Osimhen, Ederson, and Lucumi—even if I’m not the one spending the money, I would take these three players.”
When asked if he would sacrifice Kolo Muani to have a strike partnership of Jonathan David and Osimhen, Tacchinardi was unequivocal: “Yes, Osimhen would be the starter, but David is a strong player. I would go straight for Osimhen, even though I like Kolo Muani a lot.”
