Thuram

Juventus Outgoings Take Shape: €40 Million for Thuram, Miretti and Gatti Also Available

Juventus’s summer sales strategy is becoming clearer by the day, with three players in particular — Khephren Thuram, Fabio Miretti, and Federico Gatti — emerging as the most likely departures as the club works to generate the capital gains required under their UEFA financial commitments.

Thuram: €40 Million and Premier League Only

According to Tuttosport, Khephren Thuram has attracted considerable attention from across Europe in recent weeks, with Liverpool, Newcastle, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa all sending scouts to watch him in person. Strong interest has also emerged from Galatasaray, who were reportedly ready to offer around €30 million to take him to Istanbul — an approach the French midfielder has flatly rejected.

Al-Ahli of Saudi Arabia have also registered their interest, viewing Thuram as a potential replacement for Franck Kessié, who may be departing Jeddah this summer. Once again, Thuram is understood to be entirely unmoved by the financial appeal of the Saudi Pro League. His position is clear: he would consider leaving Juventus only for a Premier League club, and only if the bianconeri themselves decide to sell. The minimum price to tempt Juventus into that decision is €40 million.

Miretti: €15 Million and Plenty of Suitors in Serie A

Fabio Miretti is considered by Spalletti to be among those who can depart this summer, and the club are asking €15 million for the 23-year-old midfielder. Interest from within Serie A is significant, with Fiorentina, Bologna, Como, Parma, and Sassuolo all having shown varying degrees of interest. The right call, at the right price, is expected to arrive before long.

Gatti: Napoli Lead the Chase, Premier League Also Watching

Federico Gatti is not considered untouchable either. The centre-back has long been admired by Napoli — with both sporting director Giovanni Manna and manager Massimiliano Allegri among his most vocal supporters at the club — whilst several Premier League sides, including Everton, Fulham, Crystal Palace, and Aston Villa, have also been tracking him. A bid in the region of €20 to €25 million would be sufficient to open the door to a sale.

The Bigger Picture

Taken together, the potential sales of Thuram, Miretti, and Gatti — alongside the expected departures of Cambiaso and others — could go a long way towards meeting Carnevali’s target of €100 million in capital gains by June 2027. The pieces are in place. Now comes the harder work of finding the right buyers, at the right prices, at the right time.
