Juventus push for Kolo Muani as transfer window nears its end

Start

Juventus are not giving up on their search for a new striker, and Randal Kolo Muani remains firmly on their radar. The Bianconeri have renewed contact today to explore the feasibility of a late move for the French forward, as they look to strengthen their attack before the winter transfer window closes.

IlBianconero report that Kolo Muani, currently on loan at Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain, has long been admired by Juventus head coach Luciano Spalletti, who appreciates his pace, versatility, and physical presence. After initial talks with the player’s representatives earlier this week, Juve have now intensified their efforts to assess whether a deal can realistically be completed in the final days of the market.

A complex operation

Negotiating a move for the 25-year-old will not be straightforward. Several factors complicate the situation, including timing, relations with PSG, and the need to terminate his current loan at Tottenham. Despite these obstacles, Juventus remain determined to pursue the striker and are continuing to work on potential scenarios to make the deal happen.

Tottenham’s stance

From their side, Tottenham would first need to secure a replacement before allowing Kolo Muani to depart. While he has not been a guaranteed starter under manager Ange Postecoglou, he has featured regularly off the bench. His season so far has been mixed — two goals in the Champions League but none in the Premier League.

Any agreement would require Juventus to negotiate with both PSG and Spurs, the latter having paid around £5 million for the player’s current loan deal last summer.

PSG connection remains key

The relationship between Juventus and PSG will also play a decisive role. Previous talks regarding Kolo Muani broke down late in the summer window, leaving some tension between the clubs. Although there is no open conflict, the negotiation remains delicate and time-sensitive, with under a week remaining before the market closes.

Securing Kolo Muani’s signature would mark Juventus’ first major move of the January window, but with the clock ticking, completing such a complex deal will require swift and decisive action in the coming days.
