Kolo Muani

Juventus Reignite Interest in Randal Kolo Muani: First Contacts Made, but Two Major Obstacles Remain

Randal Kolo Muani’s name has resurfaced within Juventus circles as the club explore options to strengthen their attack in the final week of the transfer window. According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, the French striker is once again being considered by the Bianconeri, who continue to assess potential reinforcements for Luciano Spalletti’s squad.

Juventus have made no secret of their desire to bring in a forward capable of fitting Spalletti’s tactical vision. With doubts surrounding Youssef En-Nesyri’s potential move, the club quickly turned their attention to other targets. Contacts were renewed with Jean-Philippe Mateta’s representatives, but Crystal Palace’s stance remains firm — the Premier League side would only consider a permanent deal worth no less than £40 million. Those financial demands have prompted Juventus to look elsewhere.

That search has led them back to Kolo Muani, currently on loan at Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain. The 27-year-old has struggled to find regular playing time in North London, and this situation has caught the attention of Juventus, who had previously attempted to sign him last summer after a lengthy but fruitless negotiation.

However, any potential new approach faces two significant hurdles. Firstly, Tottenham manager Thomas Frank is reportedly unwilling to sanction any further departures before the end of the January window. Secondly, relations between Juventus and PSG remain strained following last summer’s transfer saga, complicating discussions between the two clubs.
