Juventus Renew Contact with PSG Over Kolo Muani as Carnevali Moves to Assess the Full Cost

Juventus have made fresh contact regarding Randal Kolo Muani, with new chief executive Giovanni Carnevali working to understand the full financial picture of a potential deal — covering both PSG’s asking price and the costs associated with the player’s entourage.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the French striker has just returned to Paris Saint-Germain following his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur, and Juventus — searching for a striker to fill the void left by Dušan Vlahović’s impending departure — are now exploring whether the time is right to finally make a move.

A Pursuit That Has Run Across Three Windows

This is not a new story. Kolo Muani has been on Juventus’s radar for two successive transfer windows. Last summer, the club were closely linked with the Frenchman but ultimately opted for Lois Openda after Jonathan David had already been signed. In January, with the player on loan at Tottenham, the north London club refused to sanction an early return to Turin.

Now, with the loan concluded and Kolo Muani back at the Parc des Princes, the path to a deal is clearer than it has ever been — at least logistically. The outstanding questions are financial: what PSG want for a player who has not consistently justified his enormous transfer fee, and whether Juventus can structure an agreement within the constraints of their UEFA Settlement Agreement obligations.

Why He Remains an Attractive Option

Despite the complications that have accompanied his career since leaving Eintracht Frankfurt, Kolo Muani remains a striker of genuine quality — powerful, mobile, technically capable, and proven at the highest level of European football. For Spalletti, who has been clear about needing an imposing, dynamic centre-forward, the profile fits. The fact that he knows the player well from international duty only strengthens the case.

Carnevali’s decision to reopen contact signals that Kolo Muani is a genuine priority rather than a speculative option. Whether the numbers ultimately work will depend on PSG’s flexibility — and on how quickly Juventus can generate the outgoing funds to make an incoming deal of this scale possible.
