Juventus Return to Training Ahead of Derby with Inter

Start

After a short break, Juventus are back on the training pitch as preparations begin for the much-anticipated clash against Inter. IlBianconero report that Igor Tudor has recalled his squad to Continassa, where the Bianconeri will gradually return to full strength as players filter back from international duty.

Four Days of Rest Before the Derby Push

Following an intense pre-season and the opening two league fixtures, Tudor granted his squad four days of rest during the international break. The extra downtime allowed those who stayed in Turin to recharge ahead of a demanding three-week stretch of Serie A and Champions League matches. With the break now over, training resumes today as focus shifts fully to the Derby d’Italia.

First Players Back from International Duty

The first wave of returning internationals includes Kenan Yildiz, Teun Koopmeiners, and Lois Openda. Yildiz comes back from featuring in both of Turkey’s recent matches, including their heavy defeat to Spain. Koopmeiners did not see action with the Netherlands, while Openda featured as a starter for Belgium in one match before sitting out the most recent fixture.

Key Returns Expected Midweek

Tudor will welcome more players in the coming days. Italy’s involvement tonight means Federico Gatti, Andrea Cambiaso, and Manuel Locatelli are expected to return by Tuesday. By Wednesday, further reinforcements will arrive, including Dusan Vlahovic, Jonathan David, Marcus Thuram, Conceicao, and Filip Kostic.

By midweek, Tudor should have the full squad at his disposal, giving Juventus nearly a complete week to prepare for the showdown with Inter, the most awaited fixture of the season so far.
