Juventus resumed training this morning at Continassa as preparations continue for Monday night’s Serie A clash against Cremonese. The Bianconeri are working at full intensity, with Luciano Spalletti focused on fine-tuning tactics and fitness levels ahead of the first fixture of the week.
Kelly Returns to Full Training
IlBianconero report how there was encouraging news arrived for Spalletti as Lloyd Kelly returned to full training with the rest of the squad. The English defender completed the entire session without issues and is now on course to be included in the matchday squad. His recovery offers a major boost to Juventus’s defensive options, and there is even a possibility that he could start alongside Gleison Bremer at the heart of defence.
Should Spalletti decide to manage Kelly’s playing time cautiously, Teun Koopmeiners remains an alternative solution, capable of adapting to a deeper defensive role if required.
Conceição Still in Doubt
Francisco Conceição’s condition, however, remains uncertain. The Portuguese winger continued to train separately as he recovers from a recent knock. His progress will be monitored daily, but his chances of featuring against Cremonese currently appear slim.
Attacking Options Under Consideration
Should Conceição miss out, Spalletti will face a significant selection dilemma in attacking midfield. Weston McKennie and Edon Zhegrova are the leading candidates to play on the right-hand side of the attacking trio, while Fabio Miretti is expected to operate through the middle. Kenan Yildiz, meanwhile, is likely to be deployed from the left flank, providing creativity and energy in the final third.
