Despite recent fan protests, Juventus have some positive developments in their squad planning. Calciomercato report that the club is set to make Pierre Kalulu’s loan move permanent, while Andrea Cambiaso is attracting interest from the Premier League.
Pierre Kalulu, the French defender, has impressed in his performances for Juventus this season, both in Serie A and the Champions League. He has often been one of the standout players on the pitch. In recent days, Cristiano Giuntoli, Juventus’ sporting director, informed Kalulu’s agent that the club intends to exercise the option to make his transfer permanent. This move will see AC Milan receive €14 million, in addition to the €3.5 million they already collected for the initial loan fee last summer.
While Kalulu looks set to remain in Turin, Andrea Cambiaso might be on his way out. Manchester City has shown strong interest in the Italian international, with manager Pep Guardiola keen to add him to his squad. Reports from England suggest that City is preparing an initial offer of €62 million for Cambiaso, having already attempted to secure his services during the recent winter transfer window. The Premier League champions are reportedly ready to offer Cambiaso a multi-year contract worth €6 million per season.
