Juventus vs Inter: Transfer Market Poker Heats Up

Start

The rivalry between Juventus and Inter Milan is not confined to the pitch-it extends fiercely into the transfer market. This summer, the two Serie A giants are locked in a high-stakes battle for several promising talents, each aiming to outmanoeuvre the other and strengthen their squads for the upcoming season.

Juventus Target Inter’s Transfer List

Calciomertcato report that Juventus have made a strategic move to disrupt Inter’s transfer plans by targeting four players who are also on the Nerazzurri’s radar. The most prominent name is Luis Henrique, the Brazilian winger from Olympique Marseille. Henrique, born in 2001, has attracted attention from multiple top clubs, including those in the Premier League. Marseille, under the guidance of Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi, is hoping to ignite a bidding war to maximize the player’s price.

The situation is complicated by a pre-existing agreement between Henrique’s representatives and Inter. After a recent meeting in Rome, Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio and the player’s agent reportedly settled on a five-year contract worth €2.2 million net per season, with incremental increases. However, Juventus is attempting to break this alliance and insert themselves into negotiations, potentially driving up the price and testing the strength of Inter’s agreement.

Parma’s Young Talents in the Crosshairs

The transfer poker doesn’t end with Henrique. Both Juventus and Inter are also eyeing two young stars from Parma: Giovanni Leoni, an Italian defender born in 2006, and Ange-Yoan Bonny, a French striker born in 2003. Inter is reportedly considering offering one of their own promising players, such as Valentin Carboni or Sebastiano Esposito, as part of a deal to sway Parma in their favor. Juventus, meanwhile, is monitoring the situation closely, ready to pounce should Inter’s negotiations falter.

Defensive Duel: Koni De Winter

The competition extends to the back line, with both clubs vying for Koni De Winter, the 23-year-old Belgian defender currently playing for Genoa. De Winter’s performances have caught the eye of scouts across Italy, and both Juventus and Inter see him as a valuable addition to bolster their defensive options.
