Juventus are closing in on the return of Gleison Bremer, with the Brazilian defender entering the decisive phase of his recovery. He has been out since mid-October, when he underwent surgery on the medial meniscus of his left knee, and has not featured since 27 September. The rehabilitation process has so far followed the planned schedule, bringing him closer to a full comeback.
Calciomercato report that from next week, Bremer is expected to rejoin his team-mates in training, initially on a partial basis before gradually moving to full sessions. The plan at Continassa is clear: Juventus aim to have him back in the squad for the key fixtures against Napoli on 7 December, Pafos on 10 December and Bologna on 14 December. According to reports, Bremer himself has set his sights firmly on the trip to the Stadio Maradona to face Napoli, a target that should be achievable barring any late setbacks.
The return, however, will be managed carefully. Bremer and the club’s medical and performance staff have agreed on a gradual reintroduction, meaning he is unlikely to be at peak condition from the very first match. His minutes will be controlled and increased step by step, in line with the recovery programme. Monday is expected to be an important checkpoint, as it could mark his partial return to group training and give him a full week of sessions to rebuild rhythm, confidence and sharpness – with the clear ambition of getting back to the point where he can once again carry the team on his shoulders.
