Juventus returned from Pisa with all three points after a 2-0 win, secured by goals from Pierre Kalulu and Kenan Yildiz. The two scorers spoke to Sky Sport after the match to share their thoughts on the performance and the result.
Kenan Yildiz, who continues to grow in influence, highlighted the importance of the team’s mentality throughout the match:
“This is an important victory for us. We have won three matches. The first half was very difficult with them, but in the second we did very well. I’m happy for the team and for Kalulu—he had a great game. A match lasts 90 minutes; in the first 45 we weren’t perfect, but in the second we showed the right attitude and played a good half.”
Defender Pierre Kalulu, whose goal doubled the lead, was quick to emphasise the collective effort and the team’s growing confidence:
“It’s true that it wasn’t a beautiful goal, but it was a very important one. There’s never luck in football—these are the things you work on every day. We still have to improve in certain areas.”
When asked about the team’s position in the table, he added:
“With this victory we’re in a good place. When things weren’t going so well, I didn’t look at the standings. Now we’ll rest well at home and have time to think about it.”
