Juventus have returned to training as preparations continue for Saturday’s trip to face Fiorentina at 17:00 GMT. IlBianconero report that the session took place in the afternoon with the full squad still not quite complete, following the end of the international break.
There are fresh updates on several players who had been sidelined, including Lloyd Kelly and Dusan Vlahovic.
Kelly Back with the Group
A welcome boost for Luciano Spalletti comes with the recovery of Lloyd Kelly. The English defender trained with the rest of the team in today’s session, signalling that he has overcome his recent muscle problem. Kelly will therefore be available for the match against Fiorentina and is expected to be included in the squad. The manager will decide whether to start him from the first minute or ease him back into action from the bench.
Vlahovic Still on Individual Work
Dusan Vlahovic has yet to rejoin full team training. The Serbian striker is recovering from a minor groin strain sustained during international duty.
He continued individual work on the pitch following recent therapy sessions, showing signs of progress. Nevertheless, his fitness remains under observation, and his involvement in the Fiorentina fixture is still uncertain.
Cabal Nearing Return
Defender Johan Cabal also followed a personalised training schedule. The Colombian, absent for over six weeks, is now close to completing his recovery.
Cabal is expected to train with the group tomorrow and aims to earn a place in the squad for the upcoming match in Florence.
