Randal Kolo Muani has become a crucial figure for Juventus during the Club World Cup, even though he didn’t find the net against Wydad. Trusted by coach Igor Tudor, the French striker has started both of Juventus’ matches in the tournament so far, underlining his importance to the team. Despite ongoing negotiations between Juventus and PSG about his future, Kolo Muani remains focused on the present, but he hasn’t ruled out a move after the competition.
Kolo Muani on the Wydad Match
Reflecting on the recent victory, Kolo Muani shared his thoughts on the team’s performance and the pivotal moments of the match.
“Against Wydad, we played a fantastic game, starting off strong thanks to Yildiz’s two flashes. Actually, I think on Boutouil’s own goal, Kenan wanted to pass it to me,” he explained. “When Wydad made it 2-1, we did well to stay focused and close out the match.”
Looking Ahead to Manchester City
With Juventus set to face Manchester City in their next Club World Cup fixture, Kolo Muani is already preparing for the challenge.
“Now we face Guardiola’s Manchester City, our first European opponent in the tournament. It will be a great challenge, and we’ll have to prepare in the best way possible to win,” he said.
High Praise for Kenan Yildiz
Kolo Muani didn’t hold back in his praise for his teammate Kenan Yildiz, who has been instrumental for Juventus.
“Kenan is incredible. Playing alongside him is pure magic. He has unbelievable skills, and you really notice it in training. He’s truly on another level, an exceptional guy. It’s a pleasure to share the field with him. I hope he wins trophies with Juve and achieves individual success—he has everything it takes to do it,” Kolo Muani enthused.
“At the End of the Tournament, We’ll See…”
When asked about his own future, Kolo Muani kept his cards close to his chest, preferring to focus on the task at hand.
“I don’t know anything about that. I’m trying to concentrate on the Club World Cup, which is a very fast-paced competition. When the tournament is over, we’ll see what happens in the transfer market. But I’m really happy at Juventus—I feel good here,” he concluded.
