Kolo Muani to Juventus: Deal on the Verge of Completion — Loan with Obligation to Buy at Just Over €30 Million

The Randal Kolo Muani saga is entering its final act. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus are now very close to reaching a formal agreement on a deal that will see the French striker return to Turin — this time on a permanent basis, structured as an initial paid loan with an obligation to buy in the summer of 2027.

The Structure and the Fee

The deal will be structured as an onerous loan with a conditional obligation to purchase — a formula that suits both clubs’ financial and accounting needs. The total fee is understood to come in at just above €30 million, a figure comfortably below PSG’s original asking price of €40 million but sufficient to satisfy the French club’s requirements for a player who struggled to establish himself in Paris and subsequently spent last season on loan at Tottenham Hotspur.

For Juventus, the loan structure is particularly convenient: it allows the club to spread the financial impact across two financial years, limiting the immediate impact on their balance sheet in the first season of their UEFA Settlement Agreement. For PSG, it clears a player who had no future at the Parc des Princes whilst securing a guaranteed future income stream and the certainty that the deal will be completed in full.

Kolo Muani Expected in Turin by 13 July

With personal terms already agreed — the French striker committed to a five-year contract at €5 million per season — the only remaining formality is the finalisation of the club-to-club fee and the completion of the relevant paperwork. Kolo Muani is expected to arrive in Turin and report to the Continassa training ground in time for the start of pre-season training on 13 July, giving Spalletti his striker from day one of the club’s summer preparations.

That timeline is the one that matters most to the manager, who has been waiting patiently for the signing that will define the shape of his attacking unit heading into the new season. The wait, it seems, is almost over.

A Deal That Defines the New Era

For Giovanni Carnevali, the completion of the Kolo Muani deal would represent the defining transfer of his early tenure — the statement signing that signals, clearly and unambiguously, that Juventus are back in the market with purpose and direction. Paired with the imminent confirmation of Muharemović’s return, the opening week of the official transfer window is already taking on the character of a genuine rebuild rather than a holding operation. The Carnevali era, after weeks of preparation and positioning, is now producing results.
